Become a Volunteer
Do you have a passion for vintage vehicles and ag equipment? Do you like working with the public? Are you good with your hands? Join our dedicated team of over 30 volunteers who bring their diverse skills and interests to the Heidrick Ag History Center! Volunteer opportunities include:
LOBBY GUEST SERVICES (greet visitors, staff the register, assist in gift shop)
TOUR GUIDE (lead tours, answer questions about exhibits and collections)
FACILITY MAINTENANCE (grounds maintenance, building repairs)
SPECIAL EVENTS (set-up, greet guests, staff events table or booth, take-down)
MAINTENANCE SHOP (move equipment, restore collections, repairs)
EXHIBITS (help construct or install new exhibits)
A volunteer project is a marvelous opportunity to participate behind the scenes. In exchange for your valuable time and talent, you can enjoy the museum’s collections, socialize with other volunteers, meet interesting visitors, and participate in fun projects. June 2014 Volunteer – John Stewart
Using his metalworking and welding skills, John crafted a beautiful new gate for the Museum that includes not only our initials, but tracks and a tractor too.
Get it Done in a Day
Businesses and groups are encouraged to bring volunteer teams to assist the museum in operational and special event roles. Ask how your group can help the Heidrick get it done in a day. Email or call 530-666-9700.
